Music
Music taken from Brahm's 'Ein Deutches Requiem' performed by the Holden Concert Orchestra and Choir, it is public domain and can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Sound/list In order it is the 2nd Movement (Denn alles Fleisch, es ist wie Gras (For all flesh is as grass)), the 6th Movement (Denn wir haben hie keine bleibende Statt (For here have we no lasting home)), 1st movement (Selig sind, die da Leid tragen (Blessed are they that mourn)), 4th Movement (Wie lieblich sind deine Wohnungen (How lovely is thy Dwelling place)) and then the 2nd again.
Also 'O Danny Boy' and 'Do ye ken John French' performed by Wackyal3000

Historical note
The Battle of the Somme took place on the 1st July 1916, and in the days before it 1 million shells were fired by the British and French. I failed to add the SFX of 1 million guns firing through most of the film as I thought it might distract from the story and annoy the viewer.
