One of the last productions of the troubled Peterman regime, THE JONESES was a rare sleeper hit for the studio. The low-budget heist picture blended action, comedy, and romance in a way that was hard to market at first, but word of mouth spread quickly. Early buzz for Susan McDaid's performance as Donna Jones is credited with helping her land the role of Tara Flame.
