This is a period piece, set roughly in the time-frame of the second anglo-afghan war, loosely based on the Battle of Maiwand
-the song is a traditional irish song about the Easter rising - but i took liberties in using it for this video
the song is performed by Chris 'the Lambic Pen' who is currently serving in Iraq. May he come home soon safe and sound
