Riley Entertainment is dedicated to producing quality family entertainment with The Movies software, expanding the content available to the filmmaking community, and extending the capabilities of the software through the creation of modding applications.

Coming Soon:  OMG!  TMO is Closing!  A zany, crude, politically-incorrect comedy about The Crisis of Incredible Proportions: the closure of The Movies Online!  If everything goes as planned, this film will be released first on TMO on December 3rd; and later on TMU when I've had time to complete the hi-res version.  This film is expected to be under 7 minutes in length.

To date, I have completed two films of significance:

For My Fellow Soldier is a World War II drama set primarily in Normandy, 1944. This film was produced without the use of any mods or outside content, with the exception of custom overlays.

To TMO or Not To TMO is a comedic "The Movies 101" tutorial, which follows TMOMovieMaker as he creates his first film with this software.

I have also coded a number of "modding" applications for The Movies:

The Riley Texture Manager is a Windows application that can be used to view image files, convert them to DDS format, and perform image compositing.  Conversion to DDS has support for automatic resizing for overlays and backdrops, and automatic thumbnail creation.  Image compositing is useful for creating textures for animated actor props.

The Mesh Reconstruction Utilities are my older command-line applications.  They can be used for a variety of prop-making purposes.  Most notable is the Set Dressing to Prop conversion utility, and the Room Builder.
