Tabletop RPGing, Reading good (and not so good!) books, watching sci-fi programmes and films (like the huge geek I am), playing online RPG and grindathon games (like the huge geek I was); I now prefer to spend all my free time hunched over a keyboard in a dark cellar trying for an hour with a dodgey mouse to get a good free-cam track nowadays; at least, that's what I tell the wife...)... oh, and making movies :P
Favorite Movies & Shows: Star Trek (pretty obviously :)), X Files, Doctor Who, Buffy/Angel, BSG, Firefly, Blakes Seven, The Tripods, Torchwood, Iron Man, The Dark Knight, Stardust, Princess Bride, LotR, ... basically anything futuristic or fantasy... or both... lots of other stuff as well, but mainly sci-fi or fantasy to be honest... yeah, yeah I know, hardly original but what the hey? I enjoy it... it's not a crime!! Why do I need to defend myself... I feel persecuted, now... help, help, I'm being repressed!!
Favorite Music: Eclectic tastes :) Everything from classical to heavy metal and anything in between (well, maybe not ANYTHING; I draw the line at Bolivian Penguin Strangling Bands... though I understand that Guatemalan Ocelot Scrotum Fondlers have a unique sound... understandable, when you think about it... them ocelots have sharp claws, so I've heard...)
Favorite Books: David Weber (especially the Honor Harrington series), Dan Abnett (Gaunt's Ghost series, mainly), Peter David (New Frontier series mainly), James Herbert (older books), Old HP, Guy N Smith (well, someone has to :P), David Gemmell, Pratchett (naturally), R A Salvatore... Frank Herbert, Joe Haldeman, Robert Heinlein, Asimov, Clarke, Niven, Pournelle, Barnes (jeez this is beginning to sound like a really old law firm's name; reminds me of that sketch from Absolutely...) and others... many, many others... sheesh, my shelves simply GROAN under the weight of books... true, most of them are old phone books, but don't they count? Then again, the creaking could just be down to my DIY skills...

Is this really of any interest, let's be honest? Most people don't even write in this bit, anyway... or do they? I don't know... I tend not to look this far down the page anyway... unless I'm being realllllly nosey and simply do have to know the inside leg or chest measurement of someone... and how many of us actually do, anyway? I mean, do YOU know what your significant other's inside leg measurement is?  Really?  I have trouble remembering my own name some mornings, let alone my wife's dress size... mind you, two cups of coffee later and I'm raring to go... I'm not good at mornings... except at weekends, and even then it's a bit touch and go, to be honest...

Sorry, I seem to have wandered off the point, there somewhat.  Err, where was I? Oh yes... married to a delightful woman, 1 daughter of 17, 1 cat, a large mainly "specialist interest" DVD collection (not, it's not porn, you smutty devil...).. what else? Oh go on then if you REALLY want a physical description.... 6 feet (ish) tall, brown hair, blue eyes... rippling abs, thighs of iron and a butt you could break rocks on.... and then I woke up... it's not true... well, the bit about the 6 foot, brown hair and blue eyes bit is, but the rest I made up... oh well, it's my description... I can dream, can't I?
